Who's Who

I'm Andrew and I'm the Rector of this Benefice. I was installed as Rector by the Bishop of Bath and Wells and the Archdeacon of Taunton in September 2014. Orginally born and brought up in Surrey, I have lived in quite a few different places, including London, Birmingham, Lichfield, Plymouth, and Vancouver, Canada. Prior to being ordained I was a children's nurse working in intensive care. Spare time includes walking Monty, my Dachshund; reading; riding; and spending time with family and friends.

I’m Paul and I am the Associate Vicar of this Benefice living in the Vicarage at Brompton Regis. This is a part-time role on what is known as a ‘house-for-duty’ basis. My wife Wendy, who is a medical writer in the pharmaceutical industry, and I moved here in early 2016. Previously I served as a priest in Burnham-on-Sea and Wedmore. I was born and brought up in Tiverton where my family run a coach firm. Following university at Exeter, I trained as a Chartered Accountant and until 2015 was a partner in a Taunton based firm of Chartered Accountants. Wendy and I enjoy walking with our Welsh Springer, Rosie, as well as singing and reading. I have recently successfully completed an MA in Christian Liturgy. I'm also the point of contact for visiting bands of ringer who would like to come to Brompton Regis and ring our lovely church bells.
